Workshops for schools on Monitoring and Reporting energy use

11th January 2016 | What's New

Did you know that all Public Bodies, including schools, have a statutory obligation to monitor and report energy use?

The National Energy Efficiency Action Plan to 2020 has set the Public Sector a target to improve energy efficiency by 33% and to lead by example. Public sector bodies, including school, are required to report annually on their energy usage and actions taken to reduce consumption in accordance with Statutory Instrument 426 of 2014

How will schools monitor and report?

SEAI manages the Monitoring and Reporting process on behalf of the Department of Communications, Energy, and Natural Resources and hosts an online system to assist you in fulfilling your statutory obligation to report your energy use under Statutory Instrument 426 of 2014 at www.seai.ie/PublicSectorReporting.
