Update on Child Protection Level 1 Inspections

CPSMA wishes to advise its members that following representations with the Department of Education Inspectorate this morning, we can confirm that the requirement for schools to adhere to the updated Child Protection Child Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment template document is being temporarily paused until January 2022.
We have received clarification on requirements for Level 1 Child Protection inspections and will record a podcast for member schools in this regard early next week. The Inspectorate intend also to publish an Information Note for all schools.
