Section 30 of the Teaching Council Act to be commenced on 1st November 2013

CPSMA recommends that Boards of Management notify all teaching staff of the requirement to be registered with the Teaching Council. Mr. Ruairà Quinn, Minister of Education and Skills today announced that Section 30 of the Teaching Council Act will be commenced on 1st November 2013. This will mean that following the commencement of Section 30 of the Teaching Council Act all teaching staff will be required to be registered with the Teaching Council in order to receive payment from State funds.
