Panel Update 16 May 2014

19th May 2014 | News

The Department of Education and Skills (DES) issued its latest panel update regarding the redeployment panels on Friday 16 May 2014.
There are currently 49 permanent/CID holding teachers on the main
redeployment panels. It is expected that DES will issue a further update
on Friday 23rd May. Click on the links below to access the latest DES panel update and to access the summary list for the main panels.

Panel officers have been appointed to the following Catholic Dioceses: Ardagh & Clonmacnois, Armagh, Cashel & Emly, Clonfert, Cork, Cloyne,
Derry, Dublin, Ferns, Galway, Kildare and Leighlin; Meath Ossory, Raphoe and Ross. The DES is liaising
with other panel operators in relation to the appointment of panel
officers for the remaining panels.

Progression to the next stage of the recruitment process is dependent on
the surplus permanent/CID holding teachers from all the main panels
(including those without access to a panel) in the relevant geographical
areas being redeployed. The Supplementary Panels have been issued in some Dioceses. Please click on the panel update link below for further information regarding these Dioceses.

A Letter of Offer should be issued to all
teachers being offered a position in the school from the panel. A template letter of offer for a panel appointment is available in the “Appointment” section of
CPSMA website.
