“CPSMA welcomes Minister Foley’s launching of the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) 2021, The National Assessments of Mathematics and English Reading (NAMER) 2021 and the NAMER DEIS reports.
The positive results contained within these reports are particularly impressive as Ireland retained its place among the top performing countries despite the significant pressure which the Covid 19 pandemic placed upon school communities.
The positive findings within these reports are a testament to the hard work and dedication of all boards of management, principals, teachers, special needs assistants and all members of school communities.
