Child Protection and Safeguarding Inspection Briefing Seminars

The Department of Education and Skills Inspectorate have informed us that a series of information sessions on the Child Protection and Safeguarding Inspection model is being organised for school principals at the following Education Centres in January and February 2019.
* Athlone Education Centre: Monday, 21st January
* Blackrock Education Centre: Tuesday, 22nd January
* Cork Education Centre: Tuesday, 22nd January
* Galway Education Centre: Wednesday, 23rd January
* Navan Education Centre: Monday, 28th January
* Limerick Education Centre: Tuesday, 29th January
* Donegal Education Centre: Wednesday, 30th January
* Waterford Education Centre: Monday, 4th February
These seminars are organised by the Department of Education and Skills. We encourage you to contact the relevant education centre and book early, as numbers will be limited. Recent correspondence from the Department of Education and Skills has stated that substitute cover will be provided for principals attending these seminars.
Primary principal briefings will take place at 1.30pm to 3.30pm on each of the above dates, with tea/coffee available on arrival.
