Cost Savings for Schools
CPSMA continues to work on cost saving measures for schools. CPSMA has been in discussions with the National Procurement Service (NPS) and the Department of Education and Skills (DES), with a view to effecting savings initially in regard to electricity supplies. Registration for the second competition for seeking cost savings for electricity charges for schools is now open. Schools can register below to get these potential benefits.Once schools are registered, the NPS will invite suppliers to tender for the supply of electricity as part of a procurement competition. Having identified an energy supplier as a result of the procurement competition, NPS will forward contracts directly to schools by post or email.
The more schools that register for national procurement the greater the potential savings for all.
Please note there is no cost involved in registering for procurement.
